Swimming Pool & Spa Inspector
Showalter Property Consultants has a unique and detailed methods for inspecting in-ground swimming pools, featuring the skills of Jack Gallagher. Jack has spent many years in the swimming pool construction and service industry. He has construction experience in both gunite and shotcrete structures, as well as vinyl liner pool construction. Jack has inspected hundreds of swimming pools, both concrete and vinyl.
Years of service experience allows Jack to bring a level of comfort to both experienced and first time pool buyers. His comprehensive swimming pool inspection reports, including color underwater video of the complete pool shell, are well-regarded in the market from Potomac to Ocean City, and Lutherville to Southern Maryland. Customer attention and clear communication is his focus.
The findings are presented in a manner so you can easily obtain quotes for repairs by local pool service companies, and Jack is always available by phone to help you with any questions, sometimes while he is enjoying his own pool!
Leak Detection
Jack uses state of the art equipment for leak detection, bringing his experience and expertise to every job. The inspection can locate leaks in swimming pools, irrigation systems, radiant heating systems, and other various underground systems.
Mold Sampling
Jack has completed InterNACHI’s Mold Inspector Training and ADVANCED Mold Inspector Training courses. Having assisted in many mold investigations, Jack has become fluent in all areas if sampling, including air, swab, tape lift and VOC sampling. Every report includes detailed documentation to inform the client on specific test results. A follow-up phone call is always made to make sure the client knows exactly what was found, possible health effects, as well as recommended next-steps.
Radon Testing/Air Quality
Jack has performed hundreds of radon tests in the Annapolis/Baltimore/Eastern Shore area. Using the most comprehensive testing equipment available, our tests give you MUCH more than just a number. Each report includes at least 48 data points to enable you to see trends, as opposed to a raw number. While usually associated with a real estate transaction, we have performed many tests for people that just want to know the quality of the air they breathe in their own homes.
Water Sampling
Maryland certified, Jack has taken the required classes to properly collect water samples.
Home Inspection
While still in the training stage, Jack is diligently working his way through the InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector Course. He looks forward to expanding his inspection career with Showalter Property Consultants.
