Showalter Property Services offers seminars on a variety of building related topics. Mr. Showalter has been an educator in the Home Inspection industry since 1993.

Our seminars appeal to a wide range of industries such as Insurance Companies, Attorneys, Real Estate Agents, Appraisers, Architects, Engineers, Property Management Companies, Hotel and Apartment Maintenance Personnel and many more.

At this time, due to a non–compete agreement we do not offer any educational services for home inspectors in the US or Real Estate Agents in Maryland.

New home and construction defects

This course focuses on common mistakes in the industry and some of the standards builders should be adhering to.

Mold inspection, sampling and abatement

This course shows methods to locate possible mold growth, discusses some common misinformation in the industry, sampling techniques and nationally recognized abatement procedures and standards.

What a home inspection actually is

This course discusses the home inspection industry a according to standards of practice of National Home Inspection Associations. We will also discuss various methods inspectors use to identify and report defects discovered.
